About Harris Academy

Established in 2020, Harris Academy is a learning community serving grades 4–8 in Gilbert, Arizona. We deliver hands‑on projects, mastery‑based lessons, scaffolded independence, and a zero‑homework policy that keeps evenings open for family and play—empowering every learner to become a confident thinker and creative problem solver.

Our Approach

Flexible Rhythms

With a four-day, twenty-hour week co-created alongside your child, our schedule adapts to real needs: three hours of focused, self-directed work, brain breaks as needed, and rotating passion-sparking electives.

Scaffolded Independence

Our lifeblood is the balance of structure and freedom. Through personalized goals, milestone check-ins, and flexible pacing, students build confidence and ownership every day.

Our vision sets a clear direction: we create an environment where every learner can see their path to growth and become a self-directed thinker who loves to learn.

Windows to the World: Experiences

Beyond four walls, we bring learning alive: from Junior Achievement simulations to hands-on field trips and student-led showcases, experiences connect curriculum to real life.
